Country en ville rides out the storm

Hurricane Irene was no match for Arts Week NDG, which featured a full program of cultural activities. Sunday saw the fifth edition of Country en ville, held across the street from NDG Park at Cafe Shaika. Nine of the ten scheduled acts made it, and the cozy atmosphere, great music and face painting added up to a special day for all involved. The day turned into night at the wrap party for the first (of many) Arts Week NDG, and a great time was had by all. Organizers are already planning for next year so stry tuned!
